StypeX Limited was founded in 2022 by Pat Bulcock & Claire Plant with the belief and conviction that there is a smarter, more efficient & comfortable way of working.
With a wealth of experience in the construction, agricultural & forestry industries it became clear that there was a gap in the market that allowed owners/operators of machines to put their own individual stamp on their equipment along with making the job site a safer and more efficient place to be, whilst at the same time being a comfortable place to sit.
Machine Light Bars
Mittx was formed in 1995, they manufacture counterweight bars, roof bars and bonnet bars for Excavators, Tractors and Loading Shovels. The company has a small team of dedicated staff based in Sweden and were awarded Company of the year by Ljusdal Municipality in 2018.
Buckets and Quick Hitches
EMA have been operating in the construction industry for over a decade. The company is extremely passionate about their products, ensuring their equipment meets the needs of excavator owners and operators across the UK. EMA buckets are designed and developed rigorously through conversations with end users to ascertain what is actually required from a ground engaging attachment.

I have known Pat from his time with Engcon, through the time with Steelwrist and now with his new project StypeX. Pat's passion for innovative, new and market leading ideas has always been one of his great strengths. This is backed up with an in depth technical knowledge of all things diggers. Pat has been involved with suppling and installing equipment on all our excavators over the last decade, including setting up our latest Mecalac skid excavator with a wrist, especially on the programming side, with a very keen, if not slightly obsessive, attention to detail, making sure everything is perfect.
It is a shame Pat no longer works at Steel Wrist, as he was so good to deal with. His new business will be a success because Pat has the passion and knowledge of the industry. Such a genuine man, always give brilliant customer service.
